I’m a big fan of spice bags and the food is pretty good here. The sauce and spices and the chicken are all really good. The chips are a bit dry but definitely worth a try. Reasonably priced too

The salt and chili mini munch box was a great choice to share. Plenty of variety with chicken, ribs, and rolls, plus the fried rice. Everything was flavorful and the sauce was perfect on the side.”

This store is a takeaway store only with a limited bench however, service is very fast. We ordered the munch box and that easily could have fed 6 people. It was packed with generous servings. Front counter service was polite and cheerful. I highly recommend coming down for a bite to eat. We ate at our car but that's all part of the fun. We travelled 1hr to get here and we'll do it again

First time trying Irish Chinese, curry sauce was really delicious. We enjoyed the fried rice and chow mein a lot!

Paddy Chan’s, a low-key Chinese takeaway joint, has officially earned its place on my regular rotation. I’ve ordered from them twice so far, and honestly, both times were solid wins. 1. The Spice Box My first order was their Spice Box, and it came loaded with salt and chili fried chicken, a generous serving of chips, and a side of sweet and sour sauce. The chicken was tender and juicy, which I loved—it wasn't super crispy, but the flavor made up for it. That salt and chili seasoning hit all the right notes: slightly spicy, savory, and addictive. The real MVP, though? The sweet and sour sauce. It was bold, tangy, and just sweet enough to balance the spices. Dipping the chicken and the chips in that sauce? Game changer. Hehehhehe 2. The 4-in-1 Combo Next time around, I leveled up and tried their 4-in-1 box, which included most of the same goodness: fried chicken, chips, but this time paired with fried rice and a rich curry sauce instead. That curry sauce was next level—thick, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice without overwhelming the dish. It soaked beautifully into the rice and made each bite so comforting and satisfying. Honestly, this combo felt like the perfect late-night meal or lazy weekend comfort food. Both meals were filling, flavorful, and great value for what you get. While it’s a takeaway spot, you can tell they put effort into the seasoning and sauces. It’s not about fancy presentation here—it’s about bold flavors and satisfying portions. Would I order again? 100%. In fact, I’m already thinking about what to get next time. If you’re into Chinese comfort food with big flavors and solid portions, Paddy Chan’s is one of those hidden gems worth checking out. Totally recommend it to any friend craving a tasty, no-fuss meal. Oh shoutout to Beth as she was very kind to me…

Ordered dinner in-house on a Friday night around 5pm - chicken balls, special fried rice and the 4-in-1, plus a few cans of club orange. Had a wait a couple of minutes for the front attendant to to come out behind the closed doors to place the order. Took about 20-25 minutes till the order was in our hands. We ate at the bench in the shop where they have some tall stools that you can sit on. They provide wooden sporks and serviettes at the counter. Everything tasted spot on with Chinese food in Ireland. I personally loved the chicken balls and fried rice. Portions are generous - you could easily share every dish between 2-3 people (unless you are super hungry) which makes the price of each dish quite reasonable. Curry was a little disappointing though - bit more on the watery side and more powdery than expected. Bonus goodies is the shelf of Irish crisps and chocolate available to also purchase but we didn't get any this time. Will definitely be back again soon.
